| Jim Mahfood, a.k.a. FoodOne, is an L.A.-based comic book artist, illustrator, T.V. production artist and D.J. His work has appeared in Playboy, MAD magazine, Spin magazine, Kevin Smith's "Clerks" comic books, Marvel & D.C. comics, and many other publications. He's currently creating all the art for Colt 45's latest ad campaign, some of which will be featured in his first-ever show in N.Y.C. His paintings and drawings incorporate the design elements of graffiti & street art, cartooning, and hip-hop culture. |
| Jeffrey Shagawat, a.k.a. Bill Shag, is a photographer who hails from Los Angeles. He shoots exclusively in film, with an array of vintage cameras capturing his subjects from life, the street, late night visages, and the music scene around him. A veteran of live performance-art events, and a frequent collaborator with Jim in mixed-media works, he's also (along with Jim) a founding member of the Soul Dressing art collective. This N.Y.C. native has been exhibited across the U.S. and overseas. This is his first New York show. |
